Cannabinoid

A cannabinoid is a naturally occurring compound that is found in the Hemp plant. There are over 120 cannabinoids found in Hemp; Delta 8 THC being one of them.

A cannabinoid is what reacts with our body's cannabinoid receptors.

Disposables

Delta 8 THC Disposable are small, rechargeable devices that come pre-charged and pre-filled with Delta 8 THC.

Once you’re finished vaping the Delta 8 THC you dispose of the device and open up another one. The devices are draw activated so there is nothing to turn on or off.

Distillate

A distillate is the result of the extraction process that removes Delta 8 THC from the Hemp plant. Once Delta 8 has been extracted and made into a distillate it’s then able to be stored in a container, capsule, or vape cartridge.

Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a biological system in our bodies that is composed of endocannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes.

It is believed to help regulate different human functions such as sleep, pain sensation, reproduction, and more.

When you take Delta 8 THC it can bind these receptors in your body, eg: getting the munchies.

Entourage Effect

The entourage effect is when you combine different cannabinoids with one another. When the two cannabinoids are taken together, the therapeutic effects are significantly enhanced.

This provides a greater experience than if taken by themselves.

Hemp

This plant is used to make Delta 8 THC which is different from Marijuana. Hemp produces low amounts of THC and high amounts of CBD.

However, it is possible to extract certain amounts of THC from Hemp. It’s also important to note that it takes a high amount of Hemp to produce Delta 8 THC.

Flower

A flower is raw Hemp that you’re able to smoke. However, Delta 8 THC Flower does not occur naturally, but you’re able to enjoy Delta 8 THC distillate that has been sprayed on Hemp.

You can get the benefits from Hemp and Delta 8 by smoking Delta 8 THC Flower.

Hybrid Strain

A hybrid strain is a mixture of both Indica and Sativa strains. You'll find some products that use hybrid strains usually have 1 strain more dominant than the other.

There is no one strain better than the other - it just depends on your mood and preference.

Indica Strain

When you think of Indica, think of "in-the-couch". This strain promotes relaxation hence why "in the couch" is a common saying. Also, this strain is commonly used at night time before going to bed.

Marijuana

Products that use Marijuana include Delta-9 THC which is not the same as Delta 8 THC. Marijuana has a higher concentration of Delta 9 THC and a low concentration of CBD. Also, it is still classified as a Schedule 1 drug.

Sativa Strain

This strain promotes energy and most commonly known as a day-time strain. Most products with the Sativa strain tend to include specific terpenes; this is to enhance the users experience based on the type of strain.

Strain

A Delta 8 THC strain refers to 3 categories of Hemp that are classified by the effects it produces. They can vary from energetic - euphoric to more mellow - relaxing properties.

Also, a strain can have a combination of different properties that are associated with a different strain.

Third-party Lab Testing

All Hemp products need to be tested for Delta 9 THC. If a Hemp product has more than 0.03% of Delta 9 THC it is now considered Marijuana and not eligible to be sold across state lines.

Companies like Delta Effex send Delta 8 products to get tested for THC and heavy metals.
